Questions about Pro
Is the free version really free?
Yes. Free GIFs have no watermark and need no account. They go up to 480px wide, 20 seconds and 20 fps. Ads pay for it, and they never appear inside the editor.
Does Pro upload my files?
No. Pro works exactly like the free version: everything is processed on your device. Pro only unlocks bigger exports and turns off ads.
How do I use Pro on another device?
After you buy, you get a license key by email. Enter it on the Account page in any browser. One key works in up to 5 browsers, and you can turn Pro off in one to free a slot.
How do I cancel?
Open the customer portal from the Account page and cancel there. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime never renews, so there's nothing to cancel.
Who handles payment?
Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, handles checkout, tax and receipts. DropGIF never sees your card details.
Why is Lifetime limited?
Lifetime is a one-off price for early supporters. We'll sell 500 seats, then retire it.
